I'm currently attending Drexel University, earning my MS in Digital Media. My background is in woodworking and bookarts. As strange as it may sound, I've found digital media to be the perfect blend of these two fields. Digital animation in particular combines the craftsmanship and technicality of woodworking with the storytelling and immersion of bookarts. I left the crafts because I felt held back by the physical limitations. In digital media I can create entire worlds, design the forces at work within them, and weave the stories of their inhabitants. The more I explored woodworking, the more boundaries I found. The more I learn about animation, the more freedom I find.
